New Donation Page for Chance Arts Website

The brief

Chance Arts relies on a platform called CAF online, which only offers a very basic donation page, with a limited word count. Because of this, the charity wanted a more detailed and persuasive Donate page on their website, to try and garner more donations.

At the top of the page, the charity wanted a really persuasive sentence to highlight the need.

The first item on the page is an embed box from CAF Online, to make giving as easy as possible.

We utilised quotes from Service Users dotted across the page to highlight the impact.

The persuasive language is sandwiched between two quotes.

We wanted to quantify what the money was used on, but due to various factors, this proved impossible. So instead I came up with equivalent products that could be ‘swapped’ in, to give people a sense of value and make the donations more quantifiable.

I added more persuasive language to the quantifiers and also buttons that directly link through to CAF Online.

Further down the page I added more detail about the work that the charity does, and why that work is so key. This is because there is a chance that someone may end up on the donate page without visiting the rest of the website, either via a link or QR code.

I added in more quotes to support the persuasive language.

The last section of the page highlights the work the charity does with parents and guardians.

This is just a small part of what they do, but shows a bigger picture of how they support the whole community.

The page ends on a positive quote from a Foster Parent.
